 unexpected leaving

Most of us have had loved ones leave this world without notice....unexpectedly. Is it better than a death that has been anticipated? Better for the one that has passed I suppose, but for those of us that have been left behind....is one or the other easier or harder to deal with hmmmmm...what do you think? My heart and prayers go out to the family and friends of our Virginia Tech students. But not only for these youngsters do I pray but also for our other youngsters who have since died on foreign soil....unexpectedly. Their are many questions left to be answered, and alot of the answers will not come until we are on the other side of this life and have the opportunity to talk with our Father in Heaven. I do pray that this is a blessed day for you, and that all things good come your way today and every day....ochoco

 Thanks to all of you

I cannot think of a better weekend to reflect on the things of our Father's ways. Mostly right now I would just like to thank all of you again for your wonderful and caring prayers. My position today would be one of acceptance, gratitude, and servitude. Serving a wonderful God, and loving his wonderful followers. To all of you a most peaceful and warm Easter weekend....with love....ochoco

 nice doctor's visit

Good morning streamers, doctor was late getting into his office but he brought along news worthy of forgiveness for his late show. He sez..bladder cancer is of a non-invasive type and will not go into the muscle tissue. He will in early May have another look inside the bladder to make sure every thing there remains ok. My right side kidney he does not want to biopsy for fear that it may cause hemmoraging and I would then face emergency surgery. So he had more blood tests done and will face some on going CT scans to monitor the size of the tumor. If things begin to change then suspicion will become surgery to remove the kidney and the tumor. So until May 9th at least I am a free and alive man. Thanks to each and every one of you for your concern and your wonderful prayers....love you all...ochoco

 doctor's appointment

Good morning streamers, went to a doctor's appointment yesterday afternoon. This appointment was with the surgeon that removed the tumor from my bladder. He sez he feels as if he got everything that was there, and also sez the pathologists report shows the area to be clear of cancer....no chemo at this time....praise the Lord. Right side kidney will be biopsied in about 2 weeks, so until then its like just marking time. Thank all of you once again for your concern and your prayers....remember to...keep on the sunnyside.

 Hello again

On the 20th day of this past February I awakened from a nights rest experiencing pains unlike I have ever had before. Not severe but in the abdominal area and on my right side kidney area. As the day progressed this pain became increasingly worse, and by 6pm I was in the emergency area of the local hospital. After some blood work, x rays, ultra sound, etc,I was put on morphine and given the following diagnosis. My right side kidney has a tumor on it a little bigger than the kidney itself, it has burst and was hemoraging. My liver has a suspicious nodule on or in it. My bladder has also a suspicious spot on it. They took my wife aside and informed her that I had cancer in all 3 of these areas. The next morning she gave me that same news. This past Tues Feb 28 at 730 am I was in the hospitals operating room. My bladder did have a cancerous tumor in it, which they removed. My liver does have a nodule in it about the size of a big marble....non cancerous. My kidney will have more tests done on it this next week and a decision as to what will be done will be given. This adventure started out a pretty gloomy event, however today things look much better. Their have been many prayers going up for me and I thank each and every person for them. And if you that read this are a prayerful person I would love to have you say a prayer for me. Will keep you all posted as events unfold. With love Ochoco
